 《Social Policy Scholars joined two International Conferences to discuss global issues》

Two major international conferences at Lingnan University attracted over 150 participants from over 20 countries to discuss contemporary social policies and social transformations in rapidly changing societies in China and around the world. Organized by the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, the two conferences were part of the events in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the University’s re-establishment in Hong Kong.

Mr HUI Fai-ping, BA (Hons) Chinese 2017 graduate was commended at the “Presentation Ceremony for Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation Scheme 2017”

In Summer 2017, the Home Affairs Bureau co-organized with Hong Kong Volunteers Association to launch the Youth Internship Programme at the Palace Museum in Beijing.  There were fifteen (15) university students from Hong Kong selected to pilot this Internship Programme including three Lingnan students, Ms CHAN Yi-lam, Mr HUI Fai-ping and Ms LEUNG Pik-shan from the Faculty of Arts.  Mr HUI Fai-ping [BA (Hons) Chinese 2017 graduate, on the right] was commended at the “Presentation Ceremony for Secretary for Home Affairs’ Commendation Scheme 2017” with his outstanding  performances in community services, volunteer work and youth development activities.  The Presentation Ceremony was chaired by The Secretary for Home Affairs Mr LAU Kong-wah on 28 December 2017 at the Central Government Offices.
